Job Overview

As an IT Operations Lead in the Business Team Mobility Solutions at Bosch, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and support of our future Analytics Business. Your primary focus will be on managing the preparation of operations and support, as well as the proactive resolution of customer complaints in escalations and task forces.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business team leads, solution managers, and application infrastructure consultants to guarantee IT availability for customers' business processes.
  • Manage the preparation of operations and support, and ensure a smooth transition during the design and build phase.
  • Engage in managing the continuous improvement of operations and support levels for customers and solutions, focusing on MS Azure Synapse Analytics-based Business Lake.
  • Resolve escalations as a problem owner for all 'run' aspects of the IT product lifecycle, acting as the 'caretaker' for end-to-end operational issues.
  • Maintain required operational documentation, including ITOM, SLA, CMDB, and other relevant information.
  • Develop and promote service and quality improvements to enhance quality and customer satisfaction for IT solutions and products.
  • Communicate proactively with unit counterparts to provide information on downtimes, maintenance windows, and service improvement plans.
  • Owning the running interfaces in our solution landscape.
  • Provide regular reports on IT-solution performance and availability.

Requirements

Several years of experience in similar contexts, with expertise in IT services, applications, infrastructure, platforms, and digitalization.


Strong knowledge of MS Azure-based Analytics Solutions, including Microsoft Synapse, DataBricks, and MS Fabric.


Broad experience in Cloud implementation, including MS Azure Data Factory, MS Azure Data Lake Gen2, and Power BI Premium Data Sets.


Infrastructure - General knowledge about all involved layers of a cloud solution and connection to on-premise systems.


Quality tools and expert knowledge of ITIL processes, including Incident-, Problem-, Asset-, Crisis-, Service-, Change-Management, and others.


Good understanding of performance metrics (KPIs, SLAs, OLAs) and business needs.


Proactive communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, and very good English skills (verbal and written) with German as a plus.
