Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is approximately $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

As a Tax Transformation Manager, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a global process model for taxes. You will collaborate closely with the Corporate Tax function to create a centralized tax function for the METRO group. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Co-creating the design of the centralized Tax function for the METRO group
• Building process blueprints for all main processes in Tax, including definition of relevant KPIs and integration of internal controls
• Creating an operational framework for processes to be centralized in GSC
• Defining the Tax Transformation program agenda

You will also support the execution of the Tax Transformation program by implementing the new operating model for the Tax function. This will involve establishing a Tax team in GSC, centralizing relevant processes, and ensuring compliance with legal standards and respective guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A master's degree in economics, law, or a related field
• Certified tax advisor (Doradca Podatkowy) in Poland will be strongly preferred
• 7+ years of progressive experience in tax roles, including strong experience in VAT compliance and tax reporting within an international consulting firm and/or an international company
• Proven track record in process optimization and project management
• Experience in finance operations in centralized locations environment is preferred
