About the Job:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Warsaw, Poland.

In this role, you will be responsible for the financial operations in the entities that operate within the UK.

As a key member of our finance team, you will assist in financial accounting and monthly & quarterly reporting for the UK.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with our UK Controller and contribute to various projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial accounting and monthly & quarterly reporting for the UK
  • Month-end closing, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation
  • Preparing monthly journals, attaching support, and submitting for review
  • Preparing and calculating accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and other monthly & quarterly entries
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant with experience working in a commercial environment in an international business with prior exposure to monthly/quarterly accounting and group reporting
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as an accountant
  • Experience working in a similar capacity at a global organization
  • Strong financial background and good spoken and written English
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment
  • Good knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Word and Excel applications
  • Results-driven with the enthusiasm to drive improvement initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Versatile, inquisitive, and robust candidate with the ability to work effectively on their own and in a team environment
