Job Description

As our Chief Infrastructure Architect, you will play a key role in building and leading our engineering team. You will collaborate closely with Architects and Infrastructure Engineers to deliver top-tier infrastructure solutions that meet the demands of high-load, real-time applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Serve as the technical lead, guiding various technical teams towards best practices and advocating for innovative technologies.
  • Infrastructure Delivery: Lead the delivery of infrastructure projects built on Kafka clusters, ensuring they meet the demands of high-load, real-time applications.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Liaison between the infrastructure team and other teams, such as Product, Software Development, and Leadership, providing regular updates on technical solutions being implemented and their benefits to the organization.
  • Advising Leadership: Provide strategic advice to the leadership team on how infrastructure solutions can drive innovation, scalability, and operational excellence across the organization.
  • Automation & Continuous Improvement: Drive automation efforts, optimizing the efficiency of development workflows, focusing on infrastructure as code and containerization (Terraform, Kubernetes).
  • Governance & Support: Ensure infrastructure stability, reliability, and scalability by enforcing governance policies and supporting ongoing operations.
  • Mentorship & Team Development: Coach and mentor Infrastructure Engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement within the team.

Ideal Candidate Profile

You are an experienced technical leader with solid expertise in infrastructure development and excellent communication skills. You should be comfortable leading infrastructure projects and working in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with event-driven architecture and handling high-load and real-time applications
  • Expertise in cloud technologies (preferably AWS) and infrastructure as code (using Terraform)
  • Deep understanding of Kafka for event streaming and experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration
  • Proven ability to deliver scalable, reliable infrastructure solutions
