Job Description
Cognitran is a leading software company that provides innovative solutions to the automotive sector. We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our team and contribute to our ongoing expansion.

We are headquartered in Essex, UK with additional offices in Coventry, Poland and the USA. This is an office-based or remote position that requires occasional presence and travel for meetings and team-building activities.

To excel in this role, you need to be a proactive developer who is not afraid to discuss current architecture and suggest improvements. You should also be able to communicate effectively in English, work well within a team, share knowledge, and understand that team success depends on its members supporting each other. Additionally, you should take ownership of your responsibilities and have experience in Java and web development.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java, AWS, RDS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Spring, Spring Boot, Maven, Gradle, Elasticsearch, Docker, and Terraform. They will also be proficient in using tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Bitbucket, Sonar, GIT, Jenkins, Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
