Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee local HR department operations while aligning with the broader group to implement strategic HR initiatives.
  • Contribute to shaping the organization's vision and fostering a strong corporate culture.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive HR plans to address critical business needs in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Assess employee and organizational needs, crafting sustainable solutions to meet those demands.
  • Lead and manage the HR team, ensuring smooth daily operations and supporting ongoing growth and development.
  • Oversee payroll functions, manage external vendors, and ensure accurate HR-related reporting.
  • Enforce and enhance company policies and procedures, introducing improvements where necessary.
  • Drive the continuous evolution of HR programs focused on recruitment, employee retention, compensation, and professional development.
  • Support managers and employees with key HR activities while fostering effective collaboration across departments.
  • Ensure all HR policies and practices comply with applicable regulations.

The Ideal Candidate

A successful Strategic HR Director should possess:

  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Experience within a shared service organization is essential; prior leadership experience is advantageous.
  • People-oriented and results-driven professionals.
  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Competence in building and effectively managing interpersonal relationships at all levels.
