Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our team in Poland. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for developing new features in an agile environment using the latest technology (Kotlin) for a client in the German financial industry.

Your primary focus will be on continuous improvement of the codebase (refactoring for performance, clean code, etc.) and maintenance and improvement of build/deployment pipelines (ex. using Jenkins). Additionally, you will be expected to support Junior Developers and collaborate with your team to plan work and discuss progress.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Deep understanding of development in Android using Kotlin.
  • Knowledge of different design patterns (e.g. MVVM, VIPER).
  • API integration knowledge (ex. Wallet API).
  • At least 5 years of experience in mobile development.
  • Very good communication skills in English, level C1 or higher.
  • Communication skills in German is a plus.
  • Successful completion of higher education as a qualified IT specialist or university degree in computer science.
  • Banking project experience is a plus.
  • Swift/iOS knowledge is a plus.
