We are currently seeking a seasoned Risk Data Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and optimize backend systems and APIs using Python, Docker, and other relevant tools to manage risk-related data flows.
  • Automate data flows to increase efficiency, ensuring accurate data transformation and seamless integration across multiple markets and systems.
  • Implement SQL-based data validations to ensure data accuracy and integrity, monitoring and addressing any exceptions that arise.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve any data issues or exceptions within the data flows, ensuring timely resolution to prevent process disruption.
  • Maintain the health of backend systems, ensuring all data processing tasks run smoothly and align with business requirements.
  • Collaborate with development teams and external partners to ensure smooth system integration and effective communication on data flow and risk processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in Python, Docker, and building backend systems and APIs to manage data flows.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL to define and manage data validations, ensuring data quality, and handling exceptions within the data pipeline.
  • Ability to automate processes and maintain daily system operations, ensuring smooth data flows and timely resolution of issues.
  • Proficiency in Git, CI/CD processes, cloud solutions, Bash/command line basics, and visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, Reporting Services (nice to have).
  • Knowledge of non-SQL solutions (i.e., Bigtable) and educational background in computer science, finance, statistics, mathematics, econometrics, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English, strong communication skills, and ability to work effectively across teams and document processes clearly.
