Job Description

As an integral member of the IAG GBS team, the Corporate Compliance Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the organization's adherence to regulatory standards and ethics. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough risk assessments, identifying potential compliance gaps, and implementing effective strategies to mitigate them. Additionally, they will collaborate with other departments to develop and maintain robust compliance frameworks that align with the company's values and objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting KYC due diligence checks and managing records within the KYC system
  • Supporting the onboarding process for third-party vendors and ensuring timely completion of tasks
  • Developing and maintaining compliance documents, policies, and procedures
  • Collaborating with the Legal and Compliance team to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes
  • Providing training and guidance to colleagues on compliance-related matters

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks is essential, as is proficiency in using dedicated IT tools and software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also crucial for success in this role.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a corporate compliance role, with a focus on KYC due diligence
  • Good knowledge of relevant legislation and enforcement regimes, including anti-bribery and trade sanctions
  • Practical skills and knowledge in using dedicated IT tools and software, such as Dow Jones and Navex
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
