Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you'll oversee our cloud infrastructure, ensuring it remains secure, scalable, and efficient. You'll collaborate closely with Backend Engineers to optimize and automate deployments, continuously improving our infrastructure and monitoring systems for seamless application delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with development teams to design, provision, and operate robust cloud infrastructure.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Set up comprehensive monitoring solutions, enhancing self-healing capabilities and 24/7 system availability.
  • Execute regular security patches to maintain our cloud services' security and up-to-date status.
  • Oversee cloud service deployments while refining and automating the deployment process.
  • Maintain and monitor Continuous Integration pipelines to streamline Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment.
  • Evaluate and optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency without compromising performance or reliability.
  • Drive automation initiatives for frictionless deployments, reducing manual intervention and errors.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Commercial experience (3+ years) with AWS.
  • Solid knowledge of containerization (Amazon ECS knowledge is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
  • Experience managing monitoring tools for both application and infrastructure layers.
  • Strong networking skills (TCP/IP).
  • Understanding and experience with Git and Git workflows.
  • Programming skills in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Ruby).
  • Experience managing relational databases.
  • Solid understanding of security standards and practices.
  • Fluency in English (speaking and writing).
