Job Title: SAP Basis Platform Specialist

As a SAP Basis Platform Specialist at Inter IKEA Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our SAP ecosystem. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the extension and enhancement of our current business processes in SAP S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a robust SAP architecture that adheres to standard practices while maintaining high automation and specialization levels in our global value chain.
  • Provide technical guidance to internal customers and product teams on SAP Basis functions, including certificate management, software installation, setup, upgrades, patches, performance monitoring, tuning, capacity management, and security.
  • Collaborate with service providers and IT functions to prioritize and protect our investment in SAP RISE and Microsoft Azure services.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance and resource utilization, ensuring a cost-conscious approach.
  • Ensure disaster recovery and application and platform resiliency options are in place.
  • Partner closely with product teams and software engineers to resolve complex problems.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in SAP Basis and managing complex IT environments.
  • Experience with SAP HANA, S4/HANA, SAP Solution Manager, and SAP cloud solutions - SAP BTP, SAP Analytics Cloud, Cloud Integration, Cloud ALM, SAP Cloud Connectors, etc.
  • Understanding of cloud technologies, especially Microsoft Azure and networks.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to build effective relationships with distributed team members.
  • Passion for creating value through robust SAP solution architecture and developing relationships and networks.
  • Ability to communicate complex technology challenges effectively to stakeholders.
