About The Role

As Azelis' HR Manager for Poland, you will provide operational and strategic HR support and guidance to the local organisations with the goal to establish a performance-oriented organisation and create a Best-Place-to-Work environment.

You will set out the HR agenda and priorities to support the business' needs, in close cooperation with the Managing Director for Poland & Ukraine and the HR Director EMEA. You'll proactively partner with the Managing Director, other local leadership and management in all relevant HR issues, and facilitate the achievements of business goals by delivering professional, operational (hands-on) HR support in all areas of the employee life cycle:

  • Recruitment
  • Employee relations
  • Performance talent management
  • Compensation & benefits, including payroll
  • Performance management
  • Training & development

You will ensure the implementation of group policies and procedures at local level and provide the best possible support and information to line managers, whilst ensuring compliance with the applicable local legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives to support business objectives
  • Provide HR guidance and support to line managers and employees
  • Manage employee relations, including disciplinary procedures and grievances
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance
  • Manage recruitment and selection processes to attract and retain top talent
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations

Requirements

  • University degree in HR and/or Economics, or equivalent HR certification
  • 5+ years of HR generalist experience, ideally in an international company with a strong customer focus and performance-based culture
  • Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written in Polish and English
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office)
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment
  • Great interpersonal skills, and ability to empathize with employees, pursuing a productive management style
  • Highly organised, able to work well under stress, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Team-player with excellent people, communication and influencing skills: articulate, able to 'tune in' to and successfully deal with different people at all levels and lead by example
