Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular online meetings with lawyers to review the ledger and ensure timely billing, in line with client requirements.
  • Update a billing forecast report with comments from the meetings.
  • Establish strong working relationships with lawyers and secretaries.
  • Action requests from lawyers for financial information using existing reports and systems.
  • Monitor WIP, billing, and activity levels, arranging and attending meetings with Departmental Managers/Practice Managers to discuss.
  • Liaise closely with the Billing Team to ensure all invoices are issued in line with partners' and clients' requirements.
  • Liaise with the relevant Credit Controller for each Department.
  • Provide general assistance to the Revenue Control Manager with ad hoc project work, as required.
  • Verify and control partner credits.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in accountancy and invoicing is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English (B2/C1 level) is essential for day-to-day work.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work 2 days a week from the office.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for meetings with senior lawyers.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
  • Able to prioritize and multitask under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • A positive team player with a can-do attitude.
  • Flexibility during the end-month, quarterly, and yearly closure process.
  • A knowledge of the Elite accounts system and e-billing systems is an advantage.
