Job Summary:

CNC Engineer - Product Transfer Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Engineer to join our team at Stryker Poland Manufacturing sp. z o.o. as a Product Transfer Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, preparing, testing, and analyzing CNC programs for milling and turning machines from main global manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpreting project drawings to determine part specific requirements.
• Collaborating with engineering team members across departments to ensure CNC programs align with project requirements.
• Setting up CNC machines to configure production, including required tools, fixtures, gauging, and work instruction preparation.
• Defining and releasing setup sheets to production.
• User-specific requirements definition and execution at the procurement stage, including potential vendor technical assessment.
• Leading equipment validation, acceptance testing at supplier sites, and on-site qualification execution.
• Providing technical leadership to ensure required Gauge R&R and Capability Studies are conducted on time.
• Conducting test runs before full production to ensure CNC machines produce outputs according to specifications.
• Defining consumables and frequency assignments to ensure production continuity at the early stage of product validation.
• Providing technology expertise for CNC machines, cutting tooling, fixtures development, validation, and ensuring their robustness in terms of capability, ergonomics, market trends, and lifetime.
• Maintaining high standards of precision and quality in the manufacturing process.
• Troubleshooting and maintaining problems related to CNC machinery in case of issues arising.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with CNC program designing, preparation, testing, and analysis for milling and turning machines from main global manufacturers.
• CNC programming in practice.
• Excellent working knowledge of manufacturing processes, especially metal machining/turning/milling and associated finishing processes, product/process design, and engineering materials.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Innovative thinker.
• Experience in executing complex problem-solving techniques related to fabricating technical issues.
• Good understanding of statistical tools and validation/verification techniques.
• Experience of MES/SAP, GD&T.
• Excellent analytical skills, ability to plan, organize, and implement concurrent tasks.
• Green or Black Belt 6 Sigma qualifications an advantage.

Travel Percentage: 30%
