Security Operations Lead

As a Security Operations Lead, you will play a critical role in leading the IT Security Operations Center, which aims to preserve the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our assets by identifying operational and security risks and collaborating with stakeholders to develop plans that manage risk to acceptable levels.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled individual to lead our team, who will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the IT Security Operations Center, ensuring that all security incidents are properly investigated and resolved in a timely manner.

About the Role

  • Lead the IT Security Operations Center to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our assets
  • Oversee the daily activities of the team, ensuring that all security incidents are properly investigated and resolved
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop plans that manage risk to acceptable levels
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Availability for rotating on-call shifts

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Professional Certifications preferred, including SANS GIAC or CISSP
  • Experience in Information Technology and information security incident response and operations management
  • Extensive experience in OS, application, and network security weaknesses, vulnerabilities, and remediation
  • Experience researching, analyzing, and resolving complex problems with minimal supervision
  • Experience reading and understanding system data, including security event logs, system logs, and firewall logs
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, and resources
  • Experience working as a member of a geographically diverse team
  • Familiarity with scripting languages and data analysis tools
  • Computer forensic skills are desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
