Data Engineer with Microsoft Fabric (f/m/x) Miejsce pracy: Bydgoszcz Technologies we use Expected Microsoft Fabric Python SQL Apache Spark Azure Data Factory Azure Data Lake Databricks About the project We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with Microsoft Fabric to join a high-impact transformation project for an international manufacturing company operating in the sustainable packaging sector. This role is dedicated to implementation projects based on Microsoft Fabric, where you will play a key part in designing and building modern data platforms, integrating enterprise data sources, and enabling advanced analytics and reporting. By joining this project, you will also become part of our Data & Analytics Competence Center – a specialized unit bringing together top experts in data engineering, data processing, analytics, and cloud technologies. Your responsibilities Develop, deploy, and maintain data solutions on an enterprise-level platform designed to ensure consistent data availability for reporting, application, and analytical use cases Work primarily with structured data, including financial, manufacturing, procurement, sales & marketing, pricing and so on Design and implement scalable, robust, and secure data solutions on Azure, leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Data Lake, Databricks, ETL/ELT processes, and other data processing Create and maintain efficient data models and schemas to support business needs Optimize data solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency Ensure security best practices and compliance are maintained across the Azure architecture Provide ongoing support for data-related issues and troubleshoot problems promptly Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data solutions that align with business goals Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative learning environment Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Azure technologies and best practices Our requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field At least 5 years of experience in Azure data engineering and data platform Proven expertise in Microsoft Fabric implementation projects Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, PySpark, Azure DWH, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, etc. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Knowledge of networking, security, identity management and serverless computing in Azure Experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell, ARM templates, or similar tools Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Fluent Polish required Residing in Poland required Optional Good experience in extracting data from various ERP systems (e.g. Oracle Fusion) and API-related development Azure certifications What we offer Great Place to Work since 2015 - it’s thanks to feedback from our workers that we get this special title and constantly implement new ideas Employment stability - revenue of PLN 2.1BN, no debts, since 2006 on the market We share the profit with Workers - over PLN 76M has already been allocated for this aim since 2022 Attractive benefits package - private healthcare, benefits cafeteria platform, car discounts and more Comfortable workplace – class A offices or remote work Dozens of fascinating projects for prestigious brands from all over the world – you can change them thanks to Job Changer application PLN 1 000 000 per year for your ideas - with this amount, we support the passions and voluntary actions of our workers Investment in your growth – meetups, webinars, training platform and technology blog – you choose Fantastic atmosphere created by all Sii Power People Recruitment stages Send your CV Talk to us about your expectations Learn more about our projects and choose the best Start your adventure with Sii Sii Sp. z o.o.
