Head of Finance VFS Poland

What You Will Do The Head of Finance will implement the Finance & Accounting strategy for VFS (Volvo Financial Services) Poland, ensuring financial reporting and compliance. This role consolidates and analyzes forecasts from various business functions and reports directly to the MD of VFS Poland, serving on the Management Team. Lead the Finance function as a trusted partner across all areas. Achieve financial targets for the Service Center/Region. Ensure data quality across financial pillars. Deliver financial planning to enhance performance. Support profitability initiatives with the Business Services Director. Collaborate with Volvo Treasury for funding solutions. Ensure tax compliance and develop financial controls. Manage financial reporting and compliance with regulations. Drive continuous improvements in Finance & Accounting. Oversee risk management strategies. Develop financial policies to enhance efficiency. Monitor market trends for strategic decision‑making. Build relationships with investors and financial institutions. We Would Like You To Contribute With The Following University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or relevant certification (CIMA, ACCA) is a plus. Minimum 5 years of financial management experience in a finance company or related field. Knowledge of finance products, leasing, and IFRS. Fluency in English. In‑depth understanding of financial products (leasing, loans) and financial markets. Experience with external auditors and regulatory bodies. Ability to align financial strategies with business goals and negotiate with financial institutions. Capacity to analyze financial data for senior management insights. Familiarity with digital transformation in finance, including automation and analytics. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills. What’s in it for you?
