ServiceNow HAM Architect The Role ServiceNow is a leading global platform used to streamline and manage enterprise-level business processes. As a Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and enhancing sophisticated HAM solutions within the platform. You’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance with industry standards, governance policies, and best practices, while partnering closely with procurement, finance, and IT operations teams. Core Responsibilities Define and lead the technical architecture for Hardware Asset Management solutions in ServiceNow. Develop and refine end-to-end hardware asset lifecycle processes, including procurement, inventory, and stockroom management. Integrate HAM with other ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB, as well as external procurement systems. Maintain governance, compliance, and data accuracy for all hardware assets across the platform. Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable solutions. Establish HAM policies, workflows, and standards to guide procurement, maintenance, and decommissioning. Oversee the development of reporting tools and dashboards to support effective asset utilization and cost efficiency. What You’ll Bring Success in this role requires strong expertise in the ServiceNow platform and confidence in managing implementations, customizations, and ongoing support activities. Key qualifications include: In-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management module. Practical experience with stockroom operations and asset lifecycle management. Understanding of hardware procurement workflows and vendor integrations. Familiarity with aligning HAM data to CMDB and ITSM processes. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Required Experience & Certifications Minimum of 5 years of ServiceNow implementation experience. Proven success in HAM and lifecycle design. ServiceNow CAD or CIS certification (HAM specialization preferred). Strong foundation in ITIL practices, especially ITAM-related areas. Preferred Qualifications English proficiency at C2 level; additional European languages are a plus. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or business-related field.
