We are seeking a commercially driven and entrepreneurial Country Manager to lead and grow our global Card Acquiring and Issuing businesses in a key European market. This role will focus on accelerating growth through sales, business development, and strategic partnerships, while ensuring smooth operations and regulatory compliance.The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader in fintech or payments, with a strong track record of building client portfolios, driving revenues, and scaling businesses. This is a hands‑on growth role requiring both strategic vision and executional excellence. Responsibilities Grow our card acquiring and issuing businesses by developing and executing robust go‑to‑market strategies. Lead sales and business development efforts, driving client acquisition, expanding partnerships, and unlocking new revenue streams. Oversee P&L for the market, ensuring revenue growth and sustainable profitability. Build and manage high‑value commercial partnerships to accelerate business expansion. Work with product teams to tailor and enhance card issuing and acquiring solutions to meet customer and market demands. Support regulatory compliance (e.g., licenses, KYC) in coordination with the legal team, ensuring business growth remains fully compliant. Represent the company externally as the commercial face of our acquiring and issuing businesses in the region. Partner closely with executives in Business Development, Sales, Product, and Operations to align local execution with global strategy. Recruit, develop, and inspire a high‑performing sales and business development team. Qualifications Proven leadership experience in Fintech, Payments, Digital Banking, Card Issuing, or Acquiring, with a strong commercial orientation. Extensive business development and sales track record, including driving revenue growth, closing large deals, and building long‑term partnerships. Deep understanding of card acquiring and issuing products, customer needs, and market dynamics. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to deliver growth while maintaining profitability. Excellent relationship‑building, negotiation, and executive presence. Ability to combine strategic vision with tactical execution in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments. Experience overseeing P&L, with strong technical and financial literacy. Inspirational leadership style, with the ability to attract, coach, and retain top commercial talent.
