Head of Internal Audit

In Poland, we have been operating since 1991, and since 2018 as Raiffeisen Bank International AG (Joint Stock Company) Branch in Poland. Our statutory activities primarily focus on servicing foreign currency loans and mortgage loans. Currently, our branch employs over 400 people.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the internal audit area in the Polish branch of the Bank.
  • Develop the annual audit plan, oversee its implementation, and report directly to the management and the audit committee.
  • Act in accordance with the Audit Charter, internal procedures, and standards governing the operation of the Audit Office.
  • Monitor and evaluate the implementation of corrective actions for identified risks.
  • Collaborate with other departments of the Bank and the headquarters in Vienna.
  • Manage the team.

Requirements:

  • Experience in internal audit within the financial sector.
  • Preferred CIA certification (completed or in progress) or completed postgraduate studies in internal auditing.
  • Ability to manage a small team, provide support, and focus on development.
  • Fluent Polish (minimum C2) and English (minimum C1).
  • Higher education.
  • High ethical standards.
  • Strong communication skills, proactivity, and relationship-building ability.
  • Openness to hybrid work from the office in Warsaw (two days per week).
  • Eligibility to work in Poland (we do not support relocation or work permit atm).
