Job Title: Power Systems Data Engineer

Total Experience Required: 6+ years in Information Technology/Computers/Software

Relevant Experience Required: 5+ years in electrical network data modelling within utility transmission and distribution environments.

Job Type: Contract

Contract Duration: A minimum duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension up to 18 months or beyond, depending on project requirements.

Workplace Type: Hybrid (at least 3 times a week at office)

Languages Required: English

Visa/Work Authorization Status: Candidates must hold a valid work permit or visa to work in Poland

Work Location: Warsaw, Poland

  1. Must be currently based in Poland or
  2. Willing to relocate to Poland from anywhere within Europe or the UK
  3. Candidates outside Europe/UK unfortunately cannot be considered

Key Responsibilities

  • Model and maintain electrical network data supporting EMS and ADMS systems.
  • Work with EMS/ADMS modelling tools, including eTerra Habitat.
  • Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Build and optimise displays for EMS and AEMS applications.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to interpret and develop Electrical SLDs

Essential Skills

  • Strong expertise in database modelling and data structures.
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases including Oracle 19C or later.
  • Hands-on experience with Display Builder for EMS and AEMS applications.
  • Knowledge of electrical transmission and distribution networks.

Optional Skills

  • Experience with automation or additional utility digitalisation tools.
  • Exposure to large-scale grid management platforms.
