Your role

Would you like to gain more experience in the investment fund industry? Do you have an audit and risk mindset? We're looking for a Senior Oversight Specialist to:

  • Support the ManCo teams predominantly in areas related to Transfer Agent oversight activities and Valuation tasks.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting for the senior management team and board of directors.
  • Perform regular independent controls on Transfer Agent processes.
  • Assess and mitigate operational risks associated with Transfer Agent and Valuation activities.

Your team

You will be working in the ManCo Delivery Team in UBS's Business Solution Center in Krakow, Poland. The Team is responsible for delivering investment fund-related services to the three European Management Companies located in Luxembourg, Switzerland and Ireland. You will report directly to a local Team head and work closely with your colleagues, other teams within UBS and different external stakeholders.

Your expertise

  • 5+ years of experience in the investment fund industry.
  • A relevant academic background, such as a degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Sound knowledge of the Transfer Agent and Valuation processes for UCITS and AIFs.
  • Understand the different accounting GAAPs (IFRS, INREV, Lux GAAP) will be an asset.
  • Ability to resolve and respond to complex queries in a timely manner with a careful and exact approach to allocated tasks
  • Good MS Excel skills
  • Keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
  • Very good written and spoken English (knowledge of German or French will be an asset)
