About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Developer with deep expertise in Databricks SQL, Delta Lake, Databricks Workflows, and PySpark to join our innovative and fast‑growing team. In this hybrid role, you will work on cutting‑edge data engineering initiatives that directly support the company's strategic goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement robust data solutions using Databricks SQL to enhance data processing and analytics capabilities.
  • Design, optimize, and maintain Databricks Delta Lake architectures for efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Build and manage Databricks Workflows to automate pipelines and improve operational efficiency.
  • Utilize PySpark to process large-scale datasets with high performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable, data-driven insights.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through comprehensive testing and validation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues to maintain system reliability.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation for all development activities.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance data solutions.
  • Mentor and support junior developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Contribute to project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

Qualifications
- 8–10 years of professional experience in data engineering or software development.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Databricks SQL, including complex query development and performance optimization.
- Proven experience designing and managing Databricks Delta Lake architectures.
- Proficiency in building and orchestrating Databricks Workflows.
- Advanced knowledge of PySpark with a track record of processing large datasets efficiently.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve data-related issues quickly.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and adopting new technologies.

Required Certifications
- Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate
- Apache Spark Developer Certification
