Systems Engineer

MBDA Polska organisation is growing fast in order to support the delivery of contracts and support future evolutions of product to enhance the capabilities for our customers.  As a System engineer, your primary objective is to support the functional integration of MBDA products into a wider Ground Based Air Defence Weapon System (including Command and Control and Radar Systems) in conjunction with our customer and industrial partners. 

As a System Engineer, you will work within a multinational systems team across a number of work streams including:

• Working with our customer and industrial partners on a number of systems engineering topics to define System Requirements to support product development, including evolution paths for future development.
• Working with our customer and industrial partners on system functional integration aspects including generation of Interface Control Documentation (ICD) and Systems Architecture definition
• Defining System integration requirements and verification plans.
• Conducting post trial analysis and reporting.
• Writing technical documentation,
• Conducting technical reviews both internally and in conjunction with the customer.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team on technical issues, queries and conflict resolution including co-ordinating responses to and from the customer and industrial partners.

The successful candidate will be comfortable adapting themselves and their approach to the challenge at hand; they will maintain vision amongst complexity and be adept at communicating this vision to drive, engage and influence partners.

What we are looking for from you:

• Technical engineering degree,
• At least 5 years of experience in similar position,
• Language proficiency: Advanced English (minimum C1),
• A driven Systems Engineering practitioner, ideally with an appreciation of the full Systems Engineering lifecycle,
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (English and Polish) in order to lead forums with technical specialists, partner teams, senior management and Customers,
• Ideally, experience of the eliciting, writing, management and verification of requirements,
• Ability to work proactively and flexibly; being able to respond quickly when programme priorities change
• Holder of Polish Security Clearance at "Secret" level ("Tajne"),
• Experience in defence sector would be an asset,
• Willingness to travel regularly within Poland and monthly within Europe.
