Are you passionate about turning innovative concepts into reality? Do you thrive in dynamic environments? Raytheon is seeking a talented and motivated Systems Engineer to join our team within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Discipline, supporting the LTAMDS program.

This role offers a unique opportunity and will deploy to Warsaw, Poland after the first six months of training in Andover or Tewksbury, MA. This is a hybrid role.

This is a 2-year assignment on a MOU with additional compensation emoluments.

Every day will bring new challenges, requiring you to collaborate across disciplines to troubleshoot issues, perform data analysis, and implement solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the success of mission-critical defense systems, and you'll have a hands-on role in ensuring the entire system functions seamlessly.

What You Will Do

• In this Systems Engineer role, you will support the following types of activities:
• Perform verification test planning, execution, analysis, and reporting
• Core Systems Engineering: Develop requirements and algorithms, concepts of operations, and define system interfaces.
• Lead Testing Efforts: Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments.
• Troubleshoot and Analyze: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
• Drive Performance: Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
• Modeling and Simulation: Develop and execute models to predict system performance and support verification and validation.
• Integrate Systems: Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.
• Collaborate and Lead: Work with and lead a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality.
• Document and Communicate: Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
• Perform Data Analysis: Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data to ensure optimal system performance and verify requirements.
• Present Findings: Present technical findings and solutions to leadership and customers.
• Support Missions: Travel as needed (up to 20%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 3 years' experience.
• Experience with any of the following: systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an interim secret U.S. security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, PDM, or other digital engineering tools.
• Experience with model-based engineering.
• Experience in developing and managing requirements.
• Experience developing both scripts and functions with MATLAB.
• Experience with generating technical documentation, such as test plans, procedures, or technical reports.
• Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field, supporting integration and/or verification.
• Experience with evaluating systems using simulated environments.
• Experience interfacing with internal and external customers.
• Experience developing is test process specifications (TPSs) including work instructions, internal procedures, special processes, Operations and Maintenance Manuals, and other required test documents to meet defense and Raytheon standards.
• Experience withing with an external partner cold line production start, mitigating technical and performance risk by participating in engagements which will include requirements reviews, documenting recommended risk mitigation/opportunity activities as they relate to design and test, review and disposition of SDRLs

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
