AP Accountant

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review, verify & register purchase invoices, cost invoices, staff expense reports, …
  • Research and resolve discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders by working closely with external vendors and internal colleagues
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions (open vendor lines, supplier statement reconciliation)
  • Preparing payment batches while monitoring cash for discount opportunities
  • Maintain vendor files
  • Assist and participate to month-end closing process
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits
  • Creation of sales invoices based on shipments to clients
  • Reconciliation of incoming client payments
  • (Proactive) cash collection activities to ensure on-time payment by clients
  • Handle rejected sales invoices in partnership with clients and internal stakeholders

Your Profile

  • You have a degree in accounting;
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Experience with ERP systems;
  • Communication with internal and external stakeholders does not scare you off;
  • You have a sense of responsibility;
  • You are accurate, have an eye for detail, and respect predefined deadlines;
  • You are fluent in Polish and English.
