Role Description

This is a hybrid, full-time role for a Java Software Engineer, located in Zabrze. The Java Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable Java applications for Oil&Gas and SpaceTech sectors, using the Spring Boot framework. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with product and engineering teams, contributing to system architecture, writing, debugging, and conducting code reviews. The role also involves participating in Agile development processes, ensuring solutions are reliable and user-friendly, and staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends to deliver superior software solutions efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Java and the Spring framework, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Familiarity with containerisation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as Linux-based environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to adapt to complex engineering domains.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills in English.
