We are currently recruiting a Designer with experience in bridges and/or structures design, to join our experienced team. The team provides assessment, concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs on a wide range of Projects, either as standalone bridge commissions or as part of multidisciplinary major projects. Our internal clients work for private and public sector and include long term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors. Our group has an established track record of successfully delivering bridge engineering design for many years, throughout the USA and Australia, not to mention Canada or Middle East. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation projects, being part of a diverse and multicultural team for the Enterprise Capabilities Europe (Poland/Spain).

Here's what you'll do:

  • Work as part of a bridges and structures team with other designers at the same functional level that can be from different EC offices (Poland, Spain, India).
  • Coordinate and lead design teams.
  • Conduct complex value engineering evaluations, determining alternative designs, materials, construction techniques.
  • Work autonomously within established procedures and practices.
  • Perform quality control review of design calculations or drawings, including participation in interdisciplinary reviews.
  • Ensure that project technical goals/milestones/ budgets are met.
  • Prepare complex project deliverables and mentor.
Qualifications

Here's what we're looking for:

  • Proven track record of working on bridges and/or and structures designs and collaborating with international and multi-cultural teams (+7 years)
  • Experience with international regulations and standards (i.e AASTHO; AREMA, Australian Codes; British Standards, etc.).
  • Proficiency in engineering calculation software for bridges / structures (Midas Civil, CSiBridge / SAP2000, etc. are of interest).
  • Proven commitment with Quality Control Policy and Quality Management System.
  • Ability to solve complex issues with limited direction on the bridges and/or structures field.
  • Proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
  • US and/or Australia Professional Engineer license will be considered favorably.
