Senior Accountant with German

Responsibilities:

·       Acting as a specialist in accounting matters in line with Solvency II, IFRS, and German accounting standards (HGB)

·       Coordinating and preparing annual and quarterly financial statements in accordance with Solvency II, IFRS, and local regulations (HGB)

·       Conducting balance sheet variance analyses and verifying the quality of reporting data

·       Preparing summaries and reports for the Management Board, Supervisory Board, Compliance Department, and regulatory authorities

·       Serving as the main point of contact for auditors and tax inspectors regarding financial statements and accounting planning

·       Continuously improving processes in the areas of security, quality, and efficiency

·       Supporting digitalization and leveraging optimization opportunities in accounting processes

·       Participating in internal and cross-departmental projects to strengthen collaboration and enhance operational efficiency

Requirements:

·       Very good command of English and German

·       Completed university degree in a relevant field

·       Experience in a similar position and practical knowledge of accounting principles

·       Familiarity with accounting regulations for insurance companies under HGB, IFRS, and Solvency II is an advantage

·       Excellent knowledge of MS Office

·       Knowledge of Power BI, SAP system, and experience working with databases will be an asset

·       Strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to explain complex accounting topics in a clear manner

·       Commitment, excellent communication culture, independence, and responsibility

·       Accuracy and well-structured working style
