More About The Role
This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a
Quality Lab Manager
in our R&D team (AQE) located in our Professional Luminaire Factory in PILA (Poland).

As a Quality Laboratory Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring our products meet the highest standards to delight our customers, maintain adherence to quality standards and appropriate accreditation/certification, so quality mindset and customer centricity must be in your DNA.

What challenges await you?

  • Preventing quality issues in the market by securing product compliance via QTP execution and advice given on product compliance.
  • Executing strategy for the laboratories and ensure a cost-efficient operation that delivers timely high quality product data and certificates
  • Managing projects to develop new, or improve existing, measurement techniques and equipment within or related to assigned competence areas, within the agreed measurement uncertainty.
  • Supporting and advising customers and colleagues, within the scope of the laboratory.
  • Organizing customer specific measurements, even when limited procedures or instructions are available; provide procedures and instructions for repetitive services within the scope of the laboratory.
  • Ensuring the quality of measurement by supervising the maintenance, repair and calibration of the measurement equipment and selecting and ordering new equipment.
  • Managing the competencies & capabilities of the laboratory (people and equipment/facilities for current and future needs)
  • Supervising realization of tests ordered in external labs
  • Cooperating with certification bodies in case of product certification (ENEC,CB ...)
  • Initiating quality activities to ensure laboratory accreditations and/or certifications. Both maintenance and getting new one
  • Ensuring safety, order, and cleanliness in the laboratory areas (LEAN and 6S).
  • Managing budget of laboratory department

  • You hold a university diploma in a technical field, preferably electrical engineering.
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, ideally in a quality or R&D laboratory.
  • You are familiar with standards and regulations, and can quickly learn the necessary standards (ISO 17025 is a plus).
  • You are a decisive individual with strong decision-making skills.
  • You are an effective communicator.
  • You are proficient in both Polish and English.
  • Ideally, you have experience with lean methodologies.
