About the role:

As a Junior Banking Accountant, you will be responsible for all Banking related accounting day-to-day activities for the countries served by EMEA GBS in assigned scope. In particular ensuring that bank related postings are done timely and accurately, cash forecasts are performed accurately and bank accounts reconciliations are high quality and required follow-up actions are performed as necessary.  You will cooperate with various teams in GBS Krakow, as well as with the local Finance teams.

In this role, you will:

  • Post daily bank statements
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Identify all reconciling items and ensure they are cleared as soon as possible
  • Prepare and process relevant journal entries
  • Prepare Cash Forecasts according to the deadlines scheduled by Corporate Treasury
  • Monitor daily cash to ensure positive balances on bank accounts
  • Book the revaluation of all foreign currency bank accounts
  • Perform Month End Close activities
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and status updates
  • Be responsible for meeting defined SLAs and KPI reporting
  • Actively participate in projects, improvements, and standardization processes
  • Deliver consistent quality across Herbalife businesses, functions, and regions
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant SOX regulations.

Our requirements:

  • Higher education in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Previous experience in finance is very welcome
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially in Excel
  • Strong analytical skills, with a mindset for process improvement and conceptual thinking
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good command of English (minimum B2 level)
  • Customer-focused attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
