The team focuses on continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and is also responsible for materials qualifications. The Operational Support team will consist of 1–2 engineers working on bonding processes and is part of the larger Bonding Department of 10–16 highly skilled engineers. The department is organized into five teams: Process, Tooling, Documentation, Operational Support, and Training.ResponsibilitiesYou will play a key role in improving the manufacturing processes for wind turbine blades. If you do not have a deep knolled withing composite materials and blades manufacturing, you will have high motivation to get it. Your improvements shall support process stability and capability to improve overall business performance; Safety Quality Delivery and Cost (SQDC)Facilitate continuous improvement of Bonding processes across all manufacturing sitesAnalyze current processes and strategically implement improvementsCreate and manage Engineering Change Notices (CNs) and lead improvement projectsAct as case handler for urgent escalations to resolve production issues quicklyConduct material qualifications, plan tests, and ensure all results are properly documentedInvestigate and solve production problems using structured methods (5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA)Use data analytics and quality tools (SPC, Lean) to improve performance and support continuous improvementQualificationsBachelor degree in Mechanical engineer or alikeExperience in bonding and assembly processes (especially in blade manufacturing) is required6–8 years of experience in similar manufacturing or process improvement rolesFluent English, Polish language will be valuableWillingness to travel and stay at factory sites for extended periods of timeAbility to work with systems and documentation (e.g., ECM process, shop floor documentation).Extensive experience leading improvement tasks and projectsCompetenciesGB Six Sigma and basic technical knowledge of composites will be beneficialProficient technical, analytical, and operational skills in composite materials, precision manufacturing, and continuous improvementProficiency in process design and optimization for blade bonding or general manufacturing processesWillingness to spend time in the factory environment to understand processes and solve problemsData-driven decision making, with experience using Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Six SigmaProficiency with problem-solving tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and FMEASelf-motivated, result-oriented, and highly organized, with effective collaboration and customer-oriented mindsetWhat We OfferWe offer a chance to join the global leader in sustainable energy solutions, while working as part of a highly motivated and collaborative team.
