Position: Senior Key Account Manager – FMCG

Location: Warsaw / Hybrid

Company & position overview:

On behalf of our Client, a leading FMCG player with a strong market position and a portfolio of well-recognized branded products we are currently seeking a commercially driven Senior Key Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with the most strategic retail chains in Poland.

This is a high-impact role with direct responsibility for branded products, reporting to the National Key Account Manager. The chosen candidate will play a key role in developing joint business plans, driving revenue growth, and ensuring long-term partnerships with top modern trade retailers.

The role combines strategic customer management, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration, making it ideal for an ambitious commercial professional ready to take the next step in their career.

Scope of duties:

  • Manage and develop relationships with key and strategic retail chains in Poland.
  • Take full responsibility for the branded product portfolio within assigned accounts, ensuring growth in sales, share, and profitability.
  • Prepare and execute annual business plans and negotiations, including terms, pricing, and promotional agreements.
  • Develop and implement joint business plans with retail partners, focused on category growth and shopper value creation.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure smooth execution of commercial initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze account performance, sales results, and competitive activities, identifying risks and growth opportunities.
  • Manage promotional activities and in-store activations, ensuring alignment with brand and trade marketing strategies.
  • Report regularly on KPIs, sales forecasts, and account development.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
  • Min. 8 years of experience in Key Account Management within FMCG, with proven success in managing top modern trade retailers.
  • Solid track record in negotiations, contract management, and business planning.
  • Strong understanding of branded product dynamics in FMCG and retailer collaboration models.
  • Analytical mindset, with strong financial and P&L awareness.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluent in English.
