Société Générale Global Solution Center Poland is a new, growing area of the SG Warsaw Branch, and we are currently looking for a Junior Trade Confirmation Officer with French.

Your future scope of responsibility will cover:

Confirming transaction's presence and its' economic characteristics,Identifying Front Office transactions that require the generation of the management system confirmation,Selecting appropriate templates for generating confirmations,Negotiating with the counterparty to validate the use of an existing document template, Following up with the counterparty to confirm the transaction is in compliance with established follow-up and escalation procedures,Analysing received documents from the counterparty and checking the economic and legal items,Undertaking necessary actions to resolve possible discrepancies (Middle Office and Front Office contacts, Legal, client, etc.)Drafting simple procedures (summary procedures) and performing periodical controls.

You will be best suited for this role if:

You have a degree in the field related to Banking / Finance or equivalentYou have at least 1 year of experience in the banking industry, preferably in a similar roleYou have a very good command of English and FrenchYou communicate effectively and clearly in various situationsYou apply strong analytical thinking skills to evaluate complex informationYou are problem-solving oriented, tackling challenges with a proactive approachYou organize your work efficiently, paying close attention to detailYou have experience with FX trade, which would be considered an assetYou possess knowledge of capital markets principles and confirmation standards, which would be an advantageYou have knowledge of SWIFT messages used for the confirmation purposes, which would be considered an asset
