About the team

As Client and Market Intelligence Manager, you will lead a team to deliver high-quality client and market analysis, supporting the firm's strategic decision making and competitive advantage. Working as part of Linklaters Global Solutions' Business Development and Marketing team, you will collaborate internationally to align intelligence services with the firm's objectives, introduce advanced analytics tools, and optimise operational efficiencies. The role offers opportunities to shape strategic initiatives, learn, and grow within a diverse and supportive environment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing a high-performing team of Client and Market Intelligence Analysts, promoting a collaborative, analytical, and development-focused culture,

  • Delivering sophisticated intelligence briefings to senior stakeholders, providing actionable insights to support both client meetings and wider strategic initiatives,

  • Ensuring the highest standards of data integrity by overseeing the accuracy and reliability of all research and analysis that inform business decisions,

  • Identifying, implementing, and managing advanced tools and platforms to enhance market intelligence and data analytics capabilities,

  • Directing the analysis of diverse data sources to support targeted market intelligence activities, including horizon scanning and the firm's business development and marketing strategies,

  • Developing and reviewing high-impact outputs—such as reports, presentations, thought leadership, and slide decks—by synthesising insights from multiple research sources,

  • Presenting complex data and insights in a clear, visual, and accessible manner to facilitate strategic discussions and support decision making at all levels,

  • Staying abreast of developments in market intelligence and actively integrating best practices and innovative approaches to strengthen the firm's competitive advantage,

  • Fostering collaboration, open communication, and a strong one-team culture with a focus on diversity, inclusion, and shared goals.

Apply if you have:

  • Experience in strategic research, competitive intelligence, or market analysis, ideally within a professional services environment,

  • At least two years' experience leading and managing high-performing teams,

  • Strong expertise in external business intelligence databases, research methodologies, and data analytics,

  • A proven ability to create impactful reports, dashboards, and visualisations, with experience using analytics and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems (ideally Salesforce),

  • The ability to analyse client behaviour and market trends, translating complex information into clear, actionable insights,

  • Communicate clearly and confidently in English with stakeholders at all levels, including directly with business and end-user stakeholders.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint,

  • Curiosity about AI and an awareness of its application within market and client intelligence activities,

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in business, economics, quantitative methods, or a related discipline (desirable),

  • Basic proficiency in Python and SQL (desirable).
