We are a growing team looking for a
Regional GL Accounting Manager- East Region
in the Finance department to help us on our journey to revolutionize road freight logistics. The role is located in our Wrocław office.

What You Will Do …

As a Regional GL Accounting Manager you'll work on interesting responsibilities like leading the General Ledger Accounting function for our East Region, which includes Poland, Romania and Turkey. Reporting to the Director of GL Accounting, you will play a key role in the transformation and centralization of our finance operations at the group level. You'll lead a team of 4 people, drive accounting consistency, and collaborate closely with other global finance workstreams such as FP&A, AP/AR, Treasury and Tax, while also being responsible for ensuring local tax compliance across the region in coordination with internal teams and external advisors. • Lead and oversee GL Accounting operations for the East Region, ensuring timely, accurate and compliant month-end and year-end closings
• Manage and develop a team of GL accountants, supporting performance, clarity and collaboration
• Contribute to the centralization and harmonization of accounting processes within the group's transformation roadmap
• Act as the main accounting contact for the East Region, coordinating activities across relevant finance workstreams
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable local GAAPs (Polish, Romanian and Turkish), as well as internal accounting policies and procedures
• Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, provisions, intercompany transactions, and audit support
• Identify and implement process improvements, with a focus on standardization, documentation and automation
• Ensure compliance with local tax requirements across the region, including proper accounting treatment of taxes (e.g., VAT, CIT) and coordination with external tax advisors and relevant internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with stakeholders across regions to ensure aligned and efficient accounting operation

What We Are Looking For …

• At least 5 years of experience in Accounting or Audit, including team leadership
• Strong knowledge of Polish GAAP and IFRS; experience with other local GAAPs is a plus
• Experience working with or overseeing local tax compliance topics, in coordination with tax advisors or external stakeholders, is a plus
• Experience with multi-entity and international month-end closings
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a hands-on and solution-oriented
• Experience in finance transformation, process optimization, or shared service environments is a strong plus
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite and Oracle preferred) and solid Excel skills
• Fluency in both Polish and English is required
