Senior IT Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex, high-impact technology initiatives across a global organization.
In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of IT projects — from initiation and planning through execution and delivery — ensuring that all objectives are achieved on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to deliver value-driven outcomes that align with strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities

– Project Initiation and Mobilization

Develop project charters, define objectives, and assemble project teams. Establish governance structures, initiate delivery activities, and ensure all project stakeholders are aligned on scope and success criteria.

– Project Planning and Execution

Create detailed project plans, assign resources, and manage day-to-day execution. Oversee delivery of agreed work products, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards.

– Risk, Issue, and Change Management

Proactively identify risks and issues, manage mitigation strategies, and maintain control through established change management processes. Ensure that deviations are handled effectively with minimal business disruption.

– Project Closeout and Transition

Lead the project closure process, including documentation of lessons learned and preparation of final reports. Ensure a seamless handover to operations through well-defined transition plans.

– Agile Project Leadership

Serve as Scrum Master for agile delivery teams. Oversee sprint planning and execution, foster a culture of self-organization, and facilitate rapid, incremental delivery of value. Monitor sprint velocity and progress using user stories and story points, and remove impediments that hinder team performance.

– Change Implementation and Business Integration (15%)

Ensure that new technical solutions are effectively integrated into business operations. Coordinate with business units to plan rollouts, manage readiness, and track delivery of business benefits. Communicate key change messages across all affected functions.

– Contract and Vendor Management (15%)

Oversee supplier and vendor performance against contractual terms and KPIs. Identify improvement opportunities, negotiate variations, and ensure compliance with contract requirements. Collaborate with procurement, legal, and finance to optimize vendor performance.

– Comprehensive Project Management (50%)

Take full ownership of complex IT projects with significant business and operational impact. Apply both predictive (waterfall) and adaptive (agile) methodologies as appropriate. Ensure robust project control, governance, and financial management processes are in place throughout the project lifecycle.

– Stakeholder and Relationship Management (20%)

Serve as a single point of contact for project stakeholders. Translate communication and engagement strategies into actionable plans, facilitating transparent dialogue and collaborative decision-making. Capture and disseminate both technical and business information to maintain alignment and trust.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education:
  Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business, Operations, or Information Technology.
• Certifications:
  PMP, PMI-ACP, or Scrum Master certification preferred.
• Experience:
  Minimum 8 years of senior-level IT project management experience in a multinational or complex organizational environment.
• Proven track record in delivering enterprise-scale projects involving multiple business units and technology domains.
• Strong familiarity with both traditional and agile project management frameworks.
