MISSION

Ensure successful launch of new products in the plant, according to the client specifications business goals set by Ficosa throughout the product life-cycle.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS
  • Take part in the developing and validating projects, contributing the vision of the plant from preparation of the offer through production.
  • Monitor project progress through periodic reporting meetings, according to the phases established in the FDS.
  • Coordinate project activities for the project work team in the plant, distributing responsibilities and ensuring they are completed on time and on target in terms of quality and cost.
  • Ensure and manage internal and external validation is completed for every element of the project.
  • Control cost and investments of the project as relates to the productive plant, analyzing any deviations and proposing corrective actions.
  • Control any aspects of the project that could affect quality, the timing and/or industrialization.
  • Compile the industrialization dossiers and manage creation of the PPAP.
  • Maintain fluid communication with the client and various departments, ensuring the project remains confidential.
  • Ensure members of the project work team use the internal and clients' technical documentation.
  • Notify the Launch Leader Manager of any incidents that may occur during the project that require support.
  • Observe Ficosa's Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.
  • Lead the team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation, fostering Ficosa's values.
  • Provide the team with the necessary means to comply with OHSE rules, ensuring they are properly used.
  • Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Academic background:  


Bachelor's degree in engineering

Languages:  


Fluent local language & Fluent English (written and spoken)

Experience:


Minimum of 2 years in a similar position or as a Project team member
