You work closely together with your consultant colleagues in customer projects focused on the technical part and/or on developing the software product and designing solutions.

You provide the customers with innovative supply chain solutions that work.

Technical Consultant Supply Chain

Your responsibilities

  • Finding clever planning solutions in collaboration with our solution architects to ensure an impeccable, high-quality implementation.
  • Implementing the solution from start to finish, together with the customer's project team.
  • Providing expertise during and after implementation.
  • Training customers so they get the most of their solution.
  • Documenting the implemented solutions by providing technical descriptions to your fellow consultants and functional notes to the customer.

Our requirements

  • Strong analytical skills, preferably supported by a Master's degree (Bachelor's degree also acceptable): Logistics, Economics, Econometrics, Modeling, IT, Production Management, Supply Chain.
  • 1-2 years of experience within an IT-technical field, combined with a basic interest in Supply Chain Planning.
  • Strong affinity with IT, with the willingness to learn an entirely new software package.
  • Knowledge of Macro Language coding (e.g. Visual Basic, C or similar).
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL).
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Creativity and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Well-organized and capable of developing and working within a standardized framework.
  • Knowledge of mathematical modeling.
