Axpo has been operating in the Polish market for over 20 years now. It employs about 260 people and is one of the largest independent offtakers of green energy. Customers in Poland benefit from tailor-made offers for the purchase and supply of energy and gas based on structured and long-term contracts. Axpo Polska also provides services to more than 25,000 companies from the small and medium-sized enterprises segment and, since April 2020, it has only been offering energy with a certified origin from renewable energy sources. While supporting energy transition in Poland, the Company also implements large-scale photovoltaic projects.

Currently we are looking for: Financial Data Analyst

Your responsibilities:

  • Creating Power BI Dashboards
  • Automating of financial reports
  • Supporting Finance team with data supply
  • Preparing other ad-hoc analysis on a regular basis
  • Automating and continuously improve mass workflow processes
  • Developing AI in Finance

Our requirements:

  • Experience with data engineering and data visualization tools, especially Power BI (Power Query and DAX).
  • Knowledge of data aggregation, transformation, and security techniques in Power BI.
  • Ability to combine and process data from various sources.
  • Proficiency in SQL. Practical knowledge of SQL query optimization and knowledge of relational databases.
  • Knowledge of using AI in Finance
  • 3 years of prior experience in data analyst or similar role
  • Bachelor's/ Master's Degree (IT, Economy, Finance, Mathematics, Energy or related)
  • Experience in change management in a finance environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of the Polish energy and gas industry seen as an asset
  • A bias for action and ability to work entrepreneurially and self-sufficiently
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Building strong relationships
  • Fluent in Polish language
  • Good spoken and written business English
