Job Description:

The Digital Technologies - IT Deployment T2-II role focuses on leveraging IT to achieve business goals and drive new opportunities. This position involves coordinating the analysis, acquisition, implementation, and installation of hardware and software solutions, ensuring their successful deployment for operational use. With moderate to extensive knowledge and experience in the discipline, the role requires leading projects or project steps and resolving both straightforward and complex problems. The position is designed to progressively build accountability for processes or business objectives while providing guidance or leadership to other associates.

As part of the Deployment Management function within Digital Technologies, the role supports the strategic direction of the organization by delivering IT services, maintaining infrastructure, and implementing security measures to mitigate digital risks. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and controlling resources to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead IT deployment projects or project steps within broader initiatives, ensuring successful implementation of hardware and software solutions.
  • Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Conduct risk analyses and monitor project progress against milestones and budgets.
  • Provide technical and analytical guidance to project teams and ensure adherence to quality standards for deliverables.
  • Analyze and document requirements by liaising with users and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Manage vendor-related tasks, including integration, tracking, and reviewing deliverables, where applicable.
  • Resolve problems using existing solutions and identify innovative approaches for complex issues.
  • Build knowledge of company processes, systems, and customers to enhance project outcomes.
  • Act as a Line Manager for Business Operations and T1 roles (up to 3 direct reports), offering guidance and leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Moderate to extensive knowledge and experience in IT deployment, project management, or related fields.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and coordinate technical processes effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying solutions.
  • Familiarity with risk analysis, resource planning, and budget tracking in the context of IT projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Experience in managing vendor integrations and deliverables is a plus.
  • Leadership capabilities, including mentoring and guiding team members.
  • Knowledge of IT security measures and infrastructure management is desirable.
