We are seeking a highly skilled
Lead Python Engineer
with expertise in Generative AI and Azure for our client, a global leader in banking, investment banking, and financial services.

This position offers a flex-hybrid model, with 3 days per week in the office located in Wroclaw or Krakow.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Python applications to address business requirements and align with technical standards
  • Collaborate across teams to design and deliver robust software solutions
  • Leverage Azure services and related technologies to create scalable systems
  • Implement event-based design patterns to enhance application efficiency
  • Apply expertise in RAG architecture to design innovative solutions
  • Troubleshoot and optimize applications to ensure reliability and high performance
  • Align with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to maintain cutting-edge approaches

Requirements

  • Excellent Python programming skills
  • Demonstrable experience leading and mentoring engineering teams
  • Background in Generative AI and LLMs
  • Familiarity with Azure environments and cloud technologies
  • Strong understanding of event-based design patterns
  • Knowledge of the principles underpinning RAG architecture
  • Skills in problem-solving with high attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration aptitude

Nice to have

  • Background in the financial services industry
  • Certification showcasing expertise in Azure or related cloud platforms
  • Familiarity with additional programming languages or development frameworks
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
