Overview:

The Android Software Integrator is responsible for executing integration and configuration activities within an Automotive IVI system project based on a Qualcomm SoC. The system integrates over 40 software components and applications from various stakeholders. This role focuses on the Android Automotive OS domain, ensuring consistent integration, build stability, and verification of Android applications and system components, under the coordination of the Integration and Configuration Manager/Lead.


Project Context:
  • Platform: Automotive IVI system on Qualcomm SoC
  • Integration Scope: 40+ components and applications from multiple stakeholders
  • Domain Focus: Android Automotive OS
  • Programming Focus: C++ and Java
  • Toolchain: Android build system, CMake, Git/Gerrit, Wind River ALM
Required Skills & Competencies:
  • Experience in Android 15 (nice to have: Android Automotive OS integration)
  • Knowledge of Java, Kotlin
  • Nice to have: C++
  • Solid understanding of the Android build system
  • Knowledge of Android application behavior, including lifecycle, permissions, and runtime privileges
  • Basics of Android application testing
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated build/test frameworks
  • Practical debugging skills on benches and target hardware
  • Understanding of ASPICE and automotive software quality standards
  • Very good English (C1)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
