Role: Senior Statutory Accountant for Germany
Location: Hybrid from Wrocław, Warszawa, Krakow or Gdansk.
Essential Job Functions

• Supervise the development and implementation of financial policies and internal controls
• Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports
• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate financial audits for the DXC companies in Germany
• Monitor and enforce compliance with accounting regulations and internal controls for both US GAAP as well as German HGB
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making
• Foster collaboration and teamwork within the controllership team

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 7+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role
• Proven experience in financial management, accounting, and control functions
• Proficiencies in financial reporting, audit compliance, and risk management
• Continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology

Other Qualifications

• An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) is a plus
• Knowledge of the German language will be an asset
