Responsibilities:

  • Driving security best practices in architectural and application implementation
  • Shaping and influencing DevSecOps culture at Batmaid
  • Proactive discovery of issues and threat modeling
  •  Contributing to tool evaluation, selection, and recommendation
  •  Establishing applications security architecture elements, securing software development life cycle for large projects
  • Assist with release planning and test operations.
  • Hands-on coding and performing code reviews
  •  Cooperation with senior management on defining roadmap needs and providing short and mid-term forecasting 

We require:

  • Provable experience in securing web applications, software supply chains and shaping internal security culture
  • Great communication skills and eagerness to share knowledge and teach
  • Proven record of driving buy or build decisions in the security software vendor landscape
  • 3+ years of experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, Application Security engineering or a related field
  • Deep knowledge of AWS cloud-native services ( EC2, EKS, EBS, ELB, S3, Route53, RDS, Elasticache Redis, VPC)
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes
  • Expertise in  building secure CI/CD pipelines 
  • Experience building IaC (Terraform)
  • Expert in European security regulations like GDPR
  • Scripting in Bash or Python

A plus:

  • Experience with security in the PHP ecosystem in particular or with Symfony-based application development
