Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer, who will define testing strategy for whole CoverTree product. The successful candidate is:

  • has experiance with testing both frontend & backend layers of application including REST & GraphQL APIs
  • ability to take over decisions, executing testing strategy
  • ease to propose new and better solution to keep the quality among all applications
  • a good problem solver and communicator
  • Candidate must be able to work partially in US timezone (for example starting work between 9-11 am Polish time).

Tech Stack

  • React, Typescript, Node, GraphQL, AWS, Microservices & Event Driven Architecture, Auth0, Stripe, Plaid, Numerous 3rd party data integrations
  • Testing: Playwright, Vitest, Jest
  • CI&CD: Github Actions, CircleCI
  • Other Tools: Figma, Git, Jira, Confluence

Responsibilities

  • Executing testing efforts on multiple frontend/backend applications and event-driven communication systems
  • Collaborate with the engineering manager, engineering team, and product team to understand and maintain product's quality
  • Reinvent a broken experience and disrupt a legacy industry through novel and scalable product design.

Candidate Background

  • 3+ years of experience in manual testing
  • Had written test strategies for products consisting multiple applications and different tech stacks
  • Hands on experience in testing systems deployed within the cloud, preferably in AWS
  • Curiosity and business acumen, and an ability to learn and take on new opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good speaking English & Polish languages
