Your responsibilities

• Observability: Take responsibility of the global observability solution and enable developers to leverage its potential.
• System Reliability: Ensure high availability and stability of production and test environments for optimal performance.
• Automation Development: Create automated solutions for deployments, scaling, monitoring, and other DevOps tasks, reducing manual work.
• Infrastructure Enablement: Provide infrastructure, tools, and support for development teams to maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines.
• Workflow Optimization: Enhance developer productivity by implementing and maintaining continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
• Incident Management: Collaborate with IT Operations Teams to solve infrastructure issues.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to design and implement scalable solutions tailored to complex technical challenges.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest tools and practices in the DevOps ecosystem to continuously enhance processes.

Our requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, systems administration, or software engineering.
• Proficient in scripting languages suitable for automation tasks.
• Strong expertise in Linux/Unix-based systems administration (Debian and RPM-based distributions).
• Experience with the LGTM-Stack or similar open source obervability, logging and monitoring stacks

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, particularly GitLab.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and scalable infrastructure management.

• In-depth knowledge of containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams and convey technical concepts effectively.

Nice to have:

• Experience with observability tools such as Datadog.
• Proficiency with Helm and ArgoCD for Kubernetes deployment management.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g. Terraform).
