Role Summary

We are looking for a fast-learning, proactive
Junior Technical Support Specialist
to support our
Tekla
-based production environment and internal technical operations.

The role combines hardware support, software support, file management, and submittal preparation.

A structured 2-month training and onboarding program is provided. We expect the person in this role to start adding value early by investigating issues and proposing practical improvements.

Requirements


Education & Background

  • Technical education (IT or related field) or equivalent practical experience
  • Diploma or degree in a technical field is preferred


Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Strong technical support and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
  • Good understanding of hardware support
    (workstations, basic infrastructure)
  • Experience
    or interest to learn
    software tools related to steel detailing (Tekla Structures)

  • Fast learner with a proactive mindset
  • Comfortable taking ownership and responsibility
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable

Key Responsibilities:


Software & Tekla Support

  • Install, update, and maintain software used in daily workflows
  • Assist users with basic Tekla-related issues (setup, exports, environments)


Hardware & IT Support

  • Provide first-level support for hardware and software issues
  • Set up workstations, monitors, and peripherals
  • Assist with onboarding (devices, software, user access)

Submittals

  • Prepare submittals including PDF drawing exports, reports, DSTV files, and other client-specific deliverables generated from Tekla


Supplies & Inventory

  • Monitor and restock IT supplies (keyboards, mice, cables, monitors)
  • Track equipment assignments and returns
