Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

We are looking for a
PLM Business Analyst
to join our team at METTLER TOLEDO. In this role, you will work closely with different business units to ensure they follow and improve our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes. You will build strong relationships to understand their specific needs, use data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to confirm these needs are accurate and important, and evaluate how well our global PLM processes support them. This position focuses on analyzing and optimizing the PLM processes to better meet the business requirements across the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Help business units understand and follow PLM process guidelines, like New Product Development and Introduction,
• Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of PLM processes using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and lessons learned to improve operations,
• Facilitate communication and coordination between different PLM projects and teams, including PLM Framework members and PLM Champions,
• Identify and document business needs by finding gaps between existing PLM processes and what the business requires,
• Explain these business needs clearly to process owners and solution architects so they can develop the right solutions,
• Help plan and carry out yearly PLM training and improvement programs to build knowledge and skills,
• Act as a coach and guide for product/project managers and other PLM team members to promote best practices,
• Provide suggestions for ongoing improvements at the group level,
• Coordinate the delivery of new PLM solutions to business units, including training and support.

What You Need to Succeed

• Experience working with PLM processes in a global company, including areas like New Product Development, Engineering Change Management, Product Discontinuation, or Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) is a must,
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken (min. C1),
• Able to communicate clearly with different people across the company, such as engineers, project managers, and managers,
• Skilled in analyzing data and creating reports to help with decisions and improve PLM operations,
• Knowledge of Power BI, Teamcenter, or Polarion is a plus.
