We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst with a strong background in fraud detection and prevention. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working in fraud risk, preferably in financial services, fintech, e-commerce, or a similar high-risk environment. You will play a key role in identifying fraud trends, analyzing data, and supporting the development of strategies to mitigate fraud risk across the organization. Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze large datasets to identify fraud patterns, anomalies, and emerging threats.
  • Collaborate with fraud operations, data science, and engineering teams to design and implement fraud detection rules and models.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor fraud KPIs and operational performance.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of fraud incidents and recommend process or system improvements.
  • Support the development and enhancement of fraud prevention tools and technologies.
  • Document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for technical teams.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, fraud typologies, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role with a focus on fraud risk.
  • Strong understanding of fraud detection techniques, tools, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience working with fraud platforms (e.g., Actimize, SAS, or similar) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in financial services, payments, or e-commerce fraud.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and how they apply to fraud detection.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as AML, KYC, and PCI-DSS.
